GravesX - Make dying much less of a hassle!
Seriously, no one likes their items getting despawned.
Seriously, no one likes their items getting despawned.
1. Basic Information
GravesX is a fork of Ranull's Graves plugin made by JaySmethers. It's a QoL death chest plugin that spawns exactly or near where you died so that you can get your items back much easier. It's also highly efficient and lightweight and won't impact server performance. GravesX supports versions 1.7.x-26.2.
NOTE: This plugin can only be installed on Java Edition servers.
2. Requirements
Before installing the plugin, make sure you have the following:
- Access to your server via the MCServerHost Panel.
- Minecraft Version 1.7.x or newer.
- Server Software that supports Spigot Plugins (e.g. Paper, Purpur, Spigot, Folia).
You can check what Server Software you use from The Sidebar > Minecraft > Server Software

3. Installation
If you meet the requirements, you're free to follow the next steps:
- Make sure your server is turned off before you install any plugins.
- Go over to The Sidebar > Minecraft > Spigot Plugins.

- Use the search bar to find and install GravesX.
The website should let you know that the plugin was installed successfully.

- Turn on the server, log onto it and make sure the plugin is working properly.
NOTE: You must hold at least one item when you die for a grave to spawn, so grab a block or two so you can properly test it out.
4. Post-Install Configurations
And that's essentially it for the plugin and everything needed for it to work! However, if you ever want to configure the grave to your liking, you can do so by going to The Sidebar > File Manager > /plugins/GravesX/config/grave.yml.
The configuration file has instructions for each value, making it easy for anyone who wants to change the grave's behavior and placement (e.g. How long graves should stay alive for, if they can be blown up, if they can be placed on top of lava, etc.).
