My server got nuked

I recently got my server almost finished until someone joined and started to nuke the server. he deleted my files from the file directory and i cant do nothing about it. This is my bad, i should've set whitelist on before. I just hope i can get my server back because it would've been a public smp. After that i got kicked and now everytime i start the server, it crashes.
