I keep getting permission denied errors

I tried migrating my server from one server hoster to this one but when I unzipped my files and started my server, it crashed with permission denied errors, I have tried to re upload the files and I checked on my Linux machine that the files in the zip file didn't have any weird permissions and they don't so I think the extractor provided makes the permission go weird. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?
