Dynmap ports

im trying to set up the dynmap web map and when i try to connect to the respective ip and port in my web browser it says that the connection is not possible to establish, im running 1.20.1 forge, the dynmap mod is in the mods folder and already created its folder with the configuration and map files, other threads on reddit discussing this say that the dynmap port 8123 should be forwarded on the server host, is there any way i can do it here? i didn't find any configuration that has to do with ports on my server
