How to config Geyser the *right* way!
**Step 1. Ensure Geyser AND Floodgate is installed. Go to the plugins tab and install it if you do not have it installed already. -- Refer to my "How to install plugins" guide for this.
1.1. Download Floodgate by clicking here
1.2. Download Geyser by clicking here
1.3. The above downloads are for PAPER/SPIGOT ONLY! If your server is not on paper/spigot, it will not work.
Step 2. Start your server with both of the plugins installed.
Step 3. Go to the Geyser folder, find "config.yml"
Step 4. Find the line that says "auth-type: []" . Look below for a reference picture.
4.1. Replace whatever is next to auth-type: with "floodgate" as seen in the photo above.
Step 5. DO NOT connect with the [].mcsh.io IP. You must connect with the direct ip & port, ex:
IP: 163.5.201.8 Port: 14652
5.1. This does NOT apply to Java, you can connect with the mcsh.io IP perfectly fine.
Step 6. That's it, have fun!**
